This multi-phase 445,000SF project in Denver, Colorado is the largest CDOC facility for women and houses 900 inmates at all custody levels. RJA was the primary Architect of Record for this three-phase project, which began in the Spring of 1997 and was completed in March 2001. The facility features a combination of minimum-security, medium-security, close-custody, special needs and intake rooms. In addition to a kitchen, laundry, central plant, regional canteen and warehouse, there are clinical services, recreation, administrative offices and visiting support services in the facility.
